MY EXPERIENCE
After having visited the whole resort with all its accommodation options, as I was on my own and stayed at Apartment 210. It was stunning. As spacious and with a terrace surrounding its 190 sqm overlooking the see. Its interior design could not be more refined, using recycled elements mixed up with modern and elegant furniture pieces, carefully selected for each of the apartments, villas or rooms. So I was in the building where the luxury apartments are, but only a few steps away from Cap Sa Sal restaurant which is like the heart of the resort. My apartment had access to a pool down the rocks, private parking and extraordinary views.
My experience started before I actually stayed there, discovering that secret spot, and getting the privilege to be shown around, it was already an experience in itself, so I immediately fell in love with that place.
ITS HISTORY
Back to the 60s, the Cap Sa Sal building had been a luxury hotel, popular among the locals and the Hollywood stars. Nowadays, this building is composed of private apartments or residences and Cap Sal Sal Resort owns a number of them. These have recovered that glamour, and great taste for details to satisfy the most demanding guests and impress them with a amazing views are they are right on the Cape of Cap Sa Sal.
With the time, the owners of these apartments and land have brought its restaurant to another level, while keeping next to it a small elegant yet simple boutique hotel and a stunning Pool Villa. Cap Sa Sal is currently renovating a second Pool Villa that overlooks and dominates the sandy beach of Pals.
AT A GLANCE
The Cap Sa Sal resort is composed of several facilites that complement each other very well.
The Cap Sa Sal Luxury Villa, is right next to the restaurant but with absolute privacy. It has been booked by celebrities and a very limited number of people know about it as the management stays very selective with guests. It enjoys the proximity of the restaurant, as it is only next door, even if no-one can notice that the villa is there. It has a huge pool with stunning views over the see under the pine trees, large terraces to unwind both in the gardens as well as near the main living room. There is also a small 2-bedroom apartment withing the Villa, named La Gaviota, which is part of it and has direct access to the chill out area and the garden. Overall it offers 7 rooms, so it sleeps up to 14 people or more as more bedrooms could be accommodated if needed. It has a private car park, its own pier and an independent entrance. There are so many more amenities that would not fit in this fact sheet. I particularly love its main living room, with a beautiful piano and several sitting areas. This villa is ideal for families.
The Cap Sa Sal Restaurant, both indoors or in the garden is shadowed by centenar pine trees. It gives the opportunity to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as cocktails or drinks and snacks all day long, while you continue to admire the views of the sea. Its menu is mainly delicious Mediterranean cuisine including the local dishes and the typical seafood rices.
The Luxury Apartments, are located In the adjacent building that was once one of the most luxurious hotels of the region. The owners have refurbished them with the highest standards and lovely taste. Ideal for families or couples.
Luxury Apartment 210
This apartment is 190sqm when used for a couple, with a double bed a bathroom and an additional toilet, but it can be complemented with 1, 2 or 3 extra bedrooms with their own bathroom, being its capacity up to 8 people at least. Its huge living room overlooks the sea and it also enjoys an amazing terrace with views over the pool to which it has access.
Luxury Apartment El Privado
This 3-bedroom apartment is stunning. Its shape and views makes it almost magic. The dimensions, interior design, views and attention to each and every corner make it absolutely unique. Ideal for smaller families that do not require a full villa but still want the confort and luxury while enjoying the most privileged views.
The Cap Sa Sal Boutique Hotel is located between the restaurant and the luxury apartments. Nine simple yet extremely elegant and stylish rooms with sea view and a terrace are there for couples or singles that would like to unwind in a quiet and romantic place. Its style is natural, minimalistic, dominated by its neutral colors and natural linen fabrics. The blue sea and pine trees are its main decorative features. Guests can enjoy breakfast or any meal at the restaurant and a small pool. This part of the resort is adults only.
